Late night apple crumble
This one is for the cozy nights in, the ‘I seriously crave something sweet right now’ moments and the times that you have friends coming over and you’re not really anywhere near prepared. Apple crumble has always been one of my favorites. Especially when it’s still warm and the apples a little bit soft. I wouldn’t qualify myself as a kitchen princess, but don’t worry, this one is delicious.
To make the apple crumble you’ll need:
♥ about 1 kilo of apples (big surprise, eh)
♥ 2 tablespoons of cinnamon
♥ 75 grams of sugar
♥ a little bit of sugar powder
♥ 50 grams of soft butter
♥ 100 grams of flour
♥ a baking tray
This recipe is for about 8 friends/people/familymembers!
You’ll need to preheat your oven to 200 degrees (Celcius) and while it’s getting hot, mix the flour, butter and 50 grams of the sugar together. Knead it until it becomes a dough like consistency. Cut up the apples into small pieces en put them in a greased baking tray. Mix it with the cinnamon and 25 grams of sugar. Lastly pour the crumble over the apples and slightly press it so it sticks together. Put it in the oven and let it sit fora bout 25-30 minutes!
After it comes out of the oven, let it sit for a bit until it cools down just a little. Add the sugar powder and if you want to, you can add some vanilla ice cream, it makes a great combo!
Let us know how it turned out, and if you have any suggestions to make it even more delicious!
